From May 12 to 15, 2026, we attended METALLOOBRABOTKA 2026 in Moscow, Russia – one of the largest machine tool exhibitions in the region. By today, May 13, the show has been in full swing for two days, and the feedback we have received is quite encouraging. Let me give you a quick recap of what has happened over the past two days and share what we look forward to in the remaining days of the exhibition.
This time, our team was small – only three of us: two salespeople and one engineer. A small crew, but we made sure every task was completed properly.
On May 11, we arrived in Moscow and went straight to the exhibition hall to set up our booth. There was no dedicated booth construction team – we did everything ourselves: wiping down the machines, arranging chairs and tables, and counting the small gifts we prepared for our visitors. We paid attention to every little detail. Our engineer, the most hardworking member of the team, re-tested and fine-tuned every piece of equipment we brought – oil coolers, water coolers, industrial air conditioners – making sure that critical functions like spindle temperature control and cutting fluid cooling could be demonstrated smoothly during the show. After all, for machine tool auxiliary equipment, reliability is everything. If something malfunctioned on site, it would have hurt our reputation.
After finishing the booth setup, we three held a brief kick-off meeting right at the booth. Our goal was very clear: over the four days of the exhibition, we want more customers – especially those working with machine tools, machining centers, and CNC equipment – to get to know Quanguan. We want to convey our brand philosophy of "high specifications, high standards, and high quality." Even though we are a small team, our confidence is strong.
The exhibition officially opened on May 12. The METALLOOBRABOTKA show is truly large in scale. Most of the visitors are professionals from industries such as mechanical processing, mold manufacturing, automotive parts, and general metalworking. Our booth attracted a good amount of foot traffic. Many new customers came specifically to inquire about our oil coolers, water coolers, and industrial air conditioners – all of which are essential for machine tool thermal balance and spindle temperature control. Our two salespeople took turns explaining product performance, which types of CNC machines each unit is suitable for, and how to install and maintain them. The customers asked detailed questions, and we gave them honest, straightforward answers.
Besides new faces, we also met several existing customers who had previously worked with us. One of them is a local Russian manufacturer of large gantry machining centers. They had bought our through-spindle coolant system some time ago, and they came to our booth specifically to give us positive feedback – saying that the system significantly improved their machining accuracy. While they were at our booth, they also took a closer look at our paper tape filtration equipment and showed interest in adding it to their setup. This kind of face-to-face communication is extremely efficient. Many technical details that are difficult to explain clearly over email become much easier when we can point to actual cutting fluid filters, industrial air conditioners, and show how they work together.
After the first day, we strongly felt that people in the machine tool industry are paying more and more attention to precision matching. They don't just ask about cooling capacity – they want to know whether the temperature control accuracy can reach ±0.5°C, whether the industrial air conditioner can withstand the high-dust environment of a typical workshop, and whether the through-spindle coolant system can maintain stable pressure. These are exactly the areas where Quanguan excels.
Now there are two days remaining – May 14 and 15. Even though we are only three people, our energy is high. We have already gained a lot in the past two days, and we are even more confident for the rest of the show.
We are more convinced than ever that live events like this machine tool exhibition are irreplaceable. For example, if you want to explain how an oil cooler solves the problem of spindle thermal deformation, just sending a brochure is not enough. But on site, you can measure the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet oil pipes, let the customer feel it with their own hand, and they will immediately be convinced. Similarly, for the ingress protection rating of an industrial air conditioner for an electrical cabinet, seeing and touching the real product is far more intuitive than reading a spec sheet.
