From 18 to 21 November 2026, the BITEC International Exhibition Center in Bangkok will host METALEX Thailand 2026, the 40th anniversary edition of Southeast Asia's largest and most authoritative machine tool exhibition. Organized by Reed Tradex under the Reed Exhibitions Group and held annually, METALEX has grown into a meeting point that carries weight far beyond the region — a place where the entire metalworking chain, from raw material and tooling to software, robotics and automation, is displayed under one roof.
The scale is the message. The 2025 edition recorded 100,162 trade visits, with more than 20,000 visitors on each of the four show days, and welcomed over 2,500 machine tool brands from around the world across 722 exhibitors, including 180 Chinese companies. Makino, Mitutoyo, Mazak, Okuma, FANUC, HIWIN, JIER Machine-Tool, Sodick, Xiamen Golden Egret and Suzhou Ahno were among the names on the floor. For 2026, the organizer plans to open seven halls, giving the anniversary edition its largest footprint yet.
Ask any machining center operator in Thailand what limits their accuracy and the answers tend to converge: heat, chips, and coolant that is no longer clean. Thermal drift moves the workpiece between the roughing and finishing passes. Swarf piles up and stops the spindle. Coolant loaded with fines shortens tool life and raises scrap rates. None of these problems appear on a machine tool spec sheet, and all of them decide whether a production line hits its tolerances. They are also, too often, the last items to be specified when a workshop is expanded.

Visitors will see complete, assembled units rather than catalog renders — the same build that ships from the company's 150,000 m² production base in Humen, Dongguan, where roughly 700 employees, including 40 R&D engineers, produce approximately 10,000 refrigeration units and 5,000 chip conveyors every month.
Thailand is one of Quanguan's established export markets, and the ASEAN machine tool sector has its own practical requirements: compact footprints for dense factory layouts, dependable operation in high ambient temperatures, and service response that does not depend on a long spare-parts pipeline.
